Vintage Hollywood Style Wedding | The Carondelet House
A high-on-style vintage, Hollywood inspired wedding. Glamorous and all around gorgeous! The bride’s beauty style by Melissa & Krystal and designer Hartnell gown are perfection! It’s tricky to pull off the style of this classic era with authenticity but this glamorous event was flawless. The white cane chairs with the striking red wool aisle runner with a classic vintage rose motif was lovely. Its easy to imagine the ambience of The Carondelet House as a chic underground speak easy, guests wined and dined at the most exclusive supper club in town.
Here’s to the A-list talent that created the magic behind the scenes:

A luxury Athenaeum Wedding | Pasadena, California
This luxury Athenaeum, Pasadena soiree embodies everything a fairytale wedding should be, including an incredibly romantic surprise from the groom to his bride.
Just after the ceremony, surrounded by congratulatory cheers and swirling rose petals, emotions on high, is when the bride first glanced the beautifully adorned horse and carriage waiting to take them away! A magical moment she will never forget.
When looking for the perfect venue Rick and Flora knew they wanted a place with beautiful architecture and privacy. A place where they could get ready before the ceremony and also relax in to the night with their guests. They found exactly what they were looking for at The Athenaeum, a private social club on the California Institute of Technology campus. This gorgeous venue had us from the moment we walked in to the pre planning meeting. As visual artists we’re always looking for settings that will enhance the story but we also consider logistics. Keeping the couple’s experience fun carefree is a priority for us, and this amazing location has it all.
What a night! Rick and Flora’s love for each other was so contagious, that not a person in attendance could deny the joy and happiness that filled the room! Everyone was up and about, dancing the night away!

Romantic Summer Wedding | Saddle Peak Lodge
Ryan and Julia love spending time in nature. When they saw the lodge with its breathtaking mountain views and rustic charm they knew instantly that that they had found the perfect location for their summer wedding celebration. A romantic wedding story with soft gold accents and a beautiful wedding cake that shimmered in the sunlight! A trellis of green garland and abundant white blooms graced the ceremony site. Beautifully designed by Exotic Green Garden An overall soft feminine style that looked especially beautiful in the authentic rustic setting of Saddle Peak Lodge.
The couple envisioned an elegantly simple and carefree event. With Shannon from Affairs of The Heart to guide them, this is just how the day unfolded. So lovely.
Standing together before an inspiring view of the Santa Monica Mountains in the late afternoon light, Ryan and Julia said I Do.
Black Tie Wedding Long Beach Cal
The Ebell of Long Beach is an extraordinary venue and the perfect setting for celebrating Tim and Courtney’s love story.
The open archways and natural daylight spaces are a photographers dream.
The bride’s dress by Pronovias is a personal favorite. The beauty of the lace over the blush colored, luxurious silk slip had me at first sight.
Before the ceremony the couple met in the natural light foyer to share a first look and to greet their sweet pup, Winston.
The ceremony was absolutely beautiful. The floral arbor designed by Bottles and Blooms looked stunning above the mosaic tile floors and the lush greenery set along the aisle.
The couple chose long dark trestle tables for their reception with pale blue and gold accents. Soft hued, luscious blooms and garland, gold sequin runners and hundreds of twinkling candles were displayed down the center of the tables. The head table where the bride and groom dined with the wedding party was framed on either end by tall green trees adorned with hanging baubles of light. The look was magical against the dark wood walls and high vaulted ceiling.
The father of the bride, maid of honor, and best man gave speeches after dinner. Then Courtney and Tim cut the cake before dancing began.

First Congregational Church Los Angeles Wedding & Vow Renewal
Michiko and Jean were college students when they fell in love and married in a civil ceremony. They made a promise to one another that one day, when they could afford it, they would have a wedding with their families and all of the trimmings. On their tenth wedding anniversary they fulfilled that promise and this beautifully planned wedding became a reality.
The morning began at Mr. C’s Hotel in Beverly Hills with the preparations and first-look. The couple enjoyed a ride to the church in a vintage limousine. The ceremony was held at the historic First Congregational Church of LA an architectural wonder, modeled after the great cathedrals of France and England. After the ceremony guests were treated to an elegant soiree at the Carondelet House, originally built as a private residence in 1928. During the cocktail hour the couple treated their guests to an impressive display of their favorite fine cheeses and caviar served with authentic french baguette. Fine wine was served during the cocktail hour and bottles were also gifted as favors. The rustic dining room tables were set with vintage lace runners and opulent silver chargers. Sprigs of rosemary and blush pink and cream florals added lushness to the design. An elegant dinner was served and champagne toasts were given. Then the live music began and everyone was out of their seats! On the patio a barista took orders for strong coffee drinks as fresh Cuban cigars were being rolled. And if things couldn’t get any better, later in the evening, the bride changed in to a shorter dress and the couple danced a jaw-dropping, sure footed, salsa number that had the crowd cheering!
Congratulations, Michiko and Jean! Well done! A very special event worth the wait!

Apple orchards, winding roads and small town generosity. Serendipity Gardens is less than an hour drive from the city but another world away. A charming wedding story of the bride’s Scotch-Irish heritage and the couple’s shared love of homemade pie, dinosaurs, and Star Wars!
On the edge of a pine forest, just down the road from Serendipity Gardens is a quaint apple orchard, a perfect location for Marnee and Dillon to sneak away for a private First-Look before the ceremony. Their vintage Pontiac looked right at home in this charming farming town too!
Perched on a hillside with the most breathtaking view of the valley below was where the couple exchanged their wedding vows. Afterward guests enjoyed cocktails under a shady canopy of trees, adorned with shimmering chandeliers. Dinner and dancing followed. Deep red tartan plaid and Scotch-Irish details represented the couples family heritage. A surprise performance by the couple was the highlight of the evening. Serious Star Wars fans, Marnee and Dillon carefully planned a lightsaber duel that was pulled off with absolute perfection! Their sure-footed skit was nearly over when suddenly Darth Vader entered the room! The music turned ominous, the couple trembled with fear, dropped their weapons and reached out for one another.Miraculously the power of their love brought Darth Vader to his knees! The crowd went absolutely wild, jumping out of their seats with cheer and laughter! Honestly it was hard to hold the camera! So much fun!
In between dancing guests mingled around the open fire pit, eating s’mores and gazing at the brilliant, starry night. Sending off the couple with a giant sparkler line up was the perfect ending to a very memorable event.
Hats off to the creative team that helped to bring the couple’s vision to life:

Roblar Winery, Los Olivos | California Wine Country Wedding
Rolling clouds and the nostalgic sound of songbirds in the vineyard set the stage for Cassidy and Gavin’s incredibly romantic wedding ceremony.
Wedding guests gathered on the lawn at the edge of the vineyard sipping champagne and enjoying the view, as the couple decided to have a first look before the ceremony, to calm some nerves, and share a quiet moment together before the ceremony started. In keeping with an intimate wedding, the couple chose a close friend to officiate the wedding ceremony. Cassidy and Gavin exchanged their wedding vows under a majestic canopy of hundred year old oaks, like two sentient beings offering their grace and serenity over the ceremony.
The wedding reception was complete with good wine (of course!) and exceptional cuisine. The wedding cake and beautiful desserts were designed and baked by another dear friend as a wedding gift for the couple. A labor of true love! Custom wedding signs and beautiful burgundy and blush flowers with succulent accents designed by Passion Flowers added to the overall charm of the day.
The highlight of the evening was the fiery sparklers that guests held as they surrounded the couple during their first dance as husband and wife. Displayed in tall galvanized buckets with tags that read “Let Sparks Fly” –Perfection! Congratulations, Cassidy & Gavin!
The people and the cuisine at Roblar Winery are exceptional and if you are looking for the perfect winery for your event, Roblar is a must see!
