SADDLE PEAK LODGE WEDDING | RUSTIC ELEGANCE
A SADDLE PEAK LODGE WEDDING | RUSTIC ELEGANCE
Saddle Peak Lodge is a nostalgic place for Emily that brought back many happy childhood Sunday dinner memories. The genuine love and connectedness she felt during these intimate family gatherings was the inspiration for their beautiful wedding. The abundant floral design by Mark’s Garden and chic simple details enhanced the easy elegant style of Emily and Casey’s very special summer soiree.

First Congregational Church Los Angeles
First Congregational Church Los Angeles Wedding & Vow Renewal
Michiko and Jean were college students when they fell in love and married in a civil ceremony. They made a promise to one another that one day, when they could afford it, they would have a wedding with their families and all of the trimmings. On their tenth wedding anniversary they fulfilled that promise and this beautifully planned wedding became a reality.
The morning began at Mr. C’s Hotel in Beverly Hills with the preparations and first-look. The couple enjoyed a ride to the church in a vintage limousine. The ceremony was held at the historic First Congregational Church of LA an architectural wonder, modeled after the great cathedrals of France and England. After the ceremony guests were treated to an elegant soiree at the Carondelet House, originally built as a private residence in 1928. During the cocktail hour the couple treated their guests to an impressive display of their favorite fine cheeses and caviar served with authentic french baguette. Fine wine was served during the cocktail hour and bottles were also gifted as favors. The rustic dining room tables were set with vintage lace runners and opulent silver chargers. Sprigs of rosemary and blush pink and cream florals added lushness to the design. An elegant dinner was served and champagne toasts were given. Then the live music began and everyone was out of their seats! On the patio a barista took orders for strong coffee drinks as fresh Cuban cigars were being rolled. And if things couldn’t get any better, later in the evening, the bride changed in to a shorter dress and the couple danced a jaw-dropping, sure footed, salsa number that had the crowd cheering!
Congratulations, Michiko and Jean! Well done! A very special event worth the wait!

Orange County Courthouse Civil Wedding Ceremony
Courthouse weddings are intimate and fun and this one, oh so chic! They are a truly magical way to say “I do.”
When we spoke with Jessica and Adam about their civil ceremony plans, they shared some of their favorite things with us. Jessica mentioned that Adam is a gourmet coffee connoisseur and that she loved a good cup of tea. So naturally we started the day and their photo story at the Gypsy Den, an eclectic neighborhood coffee shop with the best tea and coffee around! After enjoying the eye opening libations and a stroll in the courtyard, it was time to get married! We met again at the Old Orange County Courthouse where the couple was greeted by family. After a quick and fun swearing-in ceremony, everyone gathered upstairs for the ceremony which was short, sweet, and filled with laughs and love. With such a genuine and stylish couple, photographing this special day was so much fun! Her single hydrangea bloom, his yellow Mini Cooper, and the way they laughed together are just a few of our favorite things from this orange county courthouse civil wedding ceremony. What a truly perfect day! Congratulations Jessica & Adam!
If you’re thinking of having a civil marriage ceremony we highly suggest the landmark Old Orange County Courthouse. Restored to look much as it had at the turn of the last century this courthouse is the perfect place to hold a small ceremony.
And we just have to mention Garett, our waiter at the Gypsy Den. His charm and goodwill added immeasurably to our perfect day experience. Thank you, Garett! We’re sending everyone we know your way!

KAROLYN + CARL
A Second Marriage. An Intimate Ceremony. Beverly Hills
Love really does make the world go around ! Karolyn & Carl along with their first husbands and wives were the best of friends. When both of their spouses passed just a year apart from one another, Karolyn and Carl did what dear friends do, they stood by one another through difficult times. A lifelong friendship grew to a slow ramance.
Karolyn and Carl were married in an intimate ceremony at his Alma Matter, Harvard School (now Harvard Westlake) Their ceremony, followed by an elegant, simple reception was a very special event for us to photograph. We felt privileged to be a part of it!
Love truly does triumph!
